Opossum dragons are a social species with interesting family dynamics, which causes them to never be alone. Opossum dragons live in big herds, as there is safety in numbers. Even when hunting, a Opossum dragon is never alone. Opossum dragons can't actually fly, but they do have the ability to glide. Male Opossum dragons are very colorful, while the females are quite plain and tend to blend in with their environment. The male's colors, combined with their efficiency at playing dead, is used to draw in animals. When the animal, its guard down, gets close enough, the female Opossum dragon pounces, and the meal is brought back to the herd.
